Orwell is a heifer's calf from a consistent breeding dam line of longevity with many bulls sold for breeding and females retained at Whitecliffe. His dam, Lioness is a very milky cow, breeding smart calves suitable for both pedigree and commercial breeders. He carries one copy of the F94L Profit Gene and is in the top 5% for 7 traits including; Gestation, 200, 400, 600, Carcase Weight, Terminal Sire Index and Self Replacing Index. His MGS is Blelack Digger and his sire is Thrunton Fairfax, who are both trait leaders for Easy Calving and many other traits.
